14-18 April 2022
Mayfield, Sussex

Feeling stuck?

Questioning who you really are?

Ready for a change?

In need of letting go what no longer serves you?

“It is only in stepping away from the noise of everyday life that you can make space for the thoughts that really matter - the ones that tell you exactly what you want and need.”

Amanda Denton, Senior Yoga Teacher & Sound Meditation Practitioner

“Embark with us on a journey of self-discovery, shedding the old and harnessing your own unlimited potential through the healing properties of sound meditation, yoga, and connecting with the land.”

Tamara Klien, Meditation Expert & Sound Meditation Practitioner

What is ‘New Beginnings’ about?

It takes a clear intention and an elevated emotion to plant the seeds for change. You will not only be able to shed the old and unwanted, but also be guided to stepping out of the dark into a bright future, full of opportunities.

The aim is to create a healing space for self-reflection and realisation through daily wake-up meditation, yoga and immersive sound bath experiences. You will be able to look deep inside your inner-self and make those necessary changes to redesign your new reality into the state of a healthy body, a liberated mind and an uplifted spirit.

What can I expect?

A fresh start

All practices are focused on balancing the body, mind and soul with intention to move forward. Using a variety of techniques and tools which directly impact our brain waves you’ll be able to enter different states of consciousness. This is where new thinking happens allowing to rearrange or replace the unwanted circumstances of your past, with the new circumstances that you would like to invite in.

Restore

You will be participating in daily yoga sessions to ground the body and guided into deep meditation and gong bath sessions to bring focus to the mind. Each session lasts between 45 - 90 minutes and are guided by expert teachers Amanda and Tam.

Reconnect

Leaving the familiar lives behind, in an environment that doesn’t remind you of who you think you are, is the most powerful way to reflect and re-evaluate. During this 5-day retreat you are given an opportunity to rediscover yourself in a meaningful and lasting way.

Nourish

Designed by local chefs, our primarily vegetarian meals feature fresh, local ingredients that promote lightness of body, clarity of mind, and openness of spirit. We can of course cater to any dietary requirements.

Location

The retreat is taking place at Fair Oak Farm, a private estate in Mayfield, which has won numerous awards for its sustainable tourism practices, engaging and benefiting the local community. Mayfield is set in the depths of Sussex countryside, in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, yet only one hour from London.

Surrounded by breath-taking views of fields stretching to the horizon which make you feel at peace the moment you arrive, it’s the perfect retreat venue.

 Your hosts

Meet Amanda

Amanda Denton has studied a wide range of yoga practices and has over 25+ years of experience teaching. Her trainings include Yogasana, Kundalini, Yin, Chakra Vinyasa and Tapasya Hot Yoga. In 2021 Amanda also completed her Sound Meditation Teacher Training and is a passionate gong player.

Her philosophy lies in the teaching of yoga as a breathing, moving meditation, an uninterrupted flow of mindfulness and concentration, embracing the eight limbs of Patanjali Yoga. She brings all of her own yoga and healing experiences to her teaching, paying attention to alignment, offering sensitive adjustments, encouraging and supporting the individual, to become self-aware and take responsibility for their actions both on and off of the mat.

Meet Tam

Tamara Klien is a dedicated meditator and sound meditation practitioner. In her deeply immersive and spiritually invigorating sound baths she uses a plethora of therapeutic instruments such as gongs and crystal singing bowls.

Rooted in ancient healing techniques, her sessions are aimed at helping manage the modern challenges of the 21st century.  Tam hosts sound meditation sessions internationally, both in-person and online.

She is the resident sound practitioner for Cannaray CBD, co-host of A NEW MND podcast on Northbound Radio and performs regular Instagram live sessions with Hayley Hasselhoff for Marie Claire UK.
