sowing the seeds

Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind retreat that brings
ancient practices into modern life.

8 - 12/13 September 2022
Mayfield, Sussex

Transform your routine and yourself in the process, by diving into some of the most powerful practices.

As we come together around the harvest full moon, which is known for pushing emotions to the forefront, this is the perfect time to sow the seeds. Taking advantage of the creative, dream-like energy of this lunar cycle there’s a great opportunity for emotional and intellectual breakthroughs – a chance to grasp and manifest your deepest desires.

With Autumn arriving and temperatures dropping, the cool night air slips in under the comfort of our light blankets. In this time we’re reminded that discomfort is simply information, and that it can lead to understanding and gentle release. There’s something about Autumn, it’s gentle, underneath our guardedness. Like mist draping the horizon and an eyelid submerging over an eye.

“Sowing the Seeds is a powerful phrase, like a door that opens up to a whole new world of possibilities.”

- Tamara Klien, Meditation Teacher & Sound Meditation Practitioner

"There are no boundaries to manifesting our desires. This is an invitation to wake up your inner wisdom.”

- Amanda Denton, Senior Yoga Teacher & Sound Meditation Practitioner

What can I expect?

A fresh start

All practices are focused on balancing the body, mind and soul with intention to move forward. Using a variety of techniques and tools which directly impact our brain waves you’ll be able to enter different states of consciousness and support natural healing. This is where new thinking happens allowing to rearrange or replace the unwanted circumstances of your past, with the new circumstances that you would like to invite in.

Restore

You will be participating in daily yoga sessions to ground the body and guided into deep meditation and gong bath sessions to bring focus to the mind. Furthermore, we are partnering with Kerry Dowson BSc. (Hons) who will be guiding Breathwork sessions with the aim to connect you to your innate wisdom and body intelligence. Each session lasts between 45 - 90 minutes guided by the expert retreat hosts and guest practitioners.

Reconnect

Leaving the familiar lives behind, in an environment that doesn’t remind you of who you think you are, is the most powerful way to create permanent change. During this 5 to 6-day retreat you are given an opportunity to rediscover yourself in a meaningful and lasting way.

Nourish

Designed by local chefs, our plant-based meals feature fresh, local ingredients that promote lightness of body, clarity of mind, and openness of spirit. We can of course cater to any dietary requirements.

Location

The retreat is taking place at Fair Oak Farm, a private estate in Mayfield, which has won numerous awards for its sustainable tourism practices, engaging and benefiting the local community. Mayfield is set in the depths of Sussex countryside, in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, yet only one hour from London.

Surrounded by breath-taking views of fields stretching to the horizon which make you feel at peace the moment you arrive, it’s the perfect retreat venue.

Your hosts

Meet Tam

Tamara Klien is a dedicated meditator and sound meditation practitioner. In her deeply immersive and spiritually invigorating sound baths she uses a plethora of therapeutic instruments such as gongs and crystal singing bowls.

Rooted in ancient healing techniques, her sessions are aimed at helping manage the modern challenges of the 21st century.  Tam hosts sound meditation sessions internationally, both in-person and online.

She is the resident sound practitioner for Cannaray CBD, co-host of A NEW MND podcast on Northbound Radio and performs regular Instagram live sessions with Hayley Hasselhoff for Marie Claire UK.

Meet Amanda

Amanda Denton has studied a wide range of yoga practices and has over 25+ years of experience teaching. Her trainings include Yogasana, Kundalini, Yin, Chakra Vinyasa and Tapasya Hot Yoga. In 2021 Amanda also completed her Sound Meditation Teacher Training and is a passionate gong player.

Her philosophy lies in the teaching of yoga as a breathing, moving meditation, an uninterrupted flow of mindfulness and concentration, embracing the eight limbs of Patanjali Yoga. She brings all of her own yoga and healing experiences to her teaching, paying attention to alignment, offering sensitive adjustments, encouraging and supporting the individual, to become self-aware and take responsibility for their actions both on and off of the mat.
